Support for Windows XP will end on April 8, 2014

Windows XP SP3 and Office 2003 will no longer be supported by Microsoft after 8th April 2014.

From 8th April, 2014, technical assistance for Windows XP SP3 and Office 2003 will no longer be available from Microsoft, including automatic updates that help protect your PC. If you continue to use Windows XP, your computer might become more vulnerable to security risks and viruses.

e-tec computer services are able to assist you in upgrading to a updated PC. If your current PC meets the system requirements we can help you upgrade your operating system to Windows 7 or Windows 8 and migrate all you data.

If your PC does not meet system requirements, we can assist you with purchasing a new PC with Windows 7 or Windows 8 and migrating all your current data.

As a Video Production company we deal with large files on a daily basis. We set e-tec Computer Services quite a challenge by asking them to fit a system that not only stored such large files but also streamed them and backed them up quickly and effectively.

We also needed the files to be available to more than one machine, again at high speed, so that there was no ‘buffering’ when playing any High Definition footage.

e-tec provided a solution with 32 terabytes of storage, networked all our Macs together so that now any Editor that enters the studio can log in and access all the associated project files instantly and begin editing.

e-tec did this quickly and efficiently. I am really impressed with the way it has all come together and providing what looks like the perfect system.
